I thought that I was going to get wet today. Well, I was completely wrong.
It really poured heavily, while lessons were being taught in school. The rain was brought by the heavy gloomy clouds since morning. While I gazed deeply from where I was sitting to the scenery outside the window, I only saw rain.
The smell of soil and water was truly something different. Just like smelling the scent of fresh grass after a day's rain.
What is rain, to be exact? They often say that it is the tears of sadness poured by God. But is it really...?
When I was small, I never thought I would come to like the presence of rain. I always thought of it as the co-existence of sorrow. Come to think of it, I never really hated rain.
I like hearing how the raindrops splatter to the ground. It feels like...how do you put it....something out of this world.
The place where I live couldn't see stars clearly. Instead, rain was very common. I like the night sky accompanied by a slightly drizzling rain. And some soothing cool wind. It feels sooo calm. Rather than liking stars, I like rain more. It accompanies me and gives me coolness when I need it. I'd say it was more precious than the dazzling shimmering stars at night.
Splot...splot...splot....
