Yesterday(Saturday) was my parents anniversary. Well, to be precise, it's their wedding registration anniversary. Still it was an occasion to celebrate, right?
A noon, we were all dressed for lunch. My brother was kind of excited as it's been a long time since we all went out for lunch together. As expected we arrived at a restaurant. As we entered the place, darkness immediately swallowed us. The inner part of the restaurant were dimly lit by candles, resting peacefully on each dining table. After we placed our order, I observed the surroundings. It wasn't my first time here, but nevertheless, this place never stops to awe me. The walls were decorated with magnificent paintings themed as underwater that stretched throughout the wall. Besides the candles there were a few dim lights hanging from the ceiling. These lights were actually 'furballs' which were big and cute in its own way. There was a medium sized pond with fishes behind the dining area, which intrigued my brother into watching it.
After several minutes of waiting, our food arrived. I had corn soup while my father had oxtail( I think it's spelled like this)soup, which was the restaurants's specialty. Later, our main course came as well. My mum had chicken with steamed rice while my brother enjoyed Fish n' Chips. I tried fish fillet with almond while my father had steak. It was simply scrumptious! Everything felt in order and the atmosphere was in tune too.
Finally, it was time for dessert. I chose Safari ice-cream over coffee, while my brother ate the same too. Both my parents enjoyed coffee. After several minutes of chatting and enjoying out time, we paid our bills and left the place. I'd say it was very splendid!
